Content Curation - Is There An Easier Way?

Today was a very good day. For the first time in a few weeks I felt like I had everything under control and
the new system I put in place to do my daily tasks was working beautifully! I was gliding through all the items on my to-do list, making great time, and thought I might even be able to finish a little early.

Then I hit a glitch in the system...I had to find some topics to post or write about for my clients' various social media platforms and blog posts, and it was like I stepped into the matrix because everything just slowed way down.

Now when I look for content, I always try to look for at least a week's worth but looking for that content takes time and it is probably the job that I dislike the most. It is a bit of a contradiction though because it can also be very interesting, but because the process takes so long I really dread doing it.

I have heard of and taken a look at content curators like Feedly and Reddit; I also regularly use my Flipboard account, which is the easiest and most convenient way for me to find information, but I still have to take the time to read through the articles, figure out what I'm going to use, etc...

Maybe I'm just venting and this is it but if anyone knows of an easier way to gather and go through content, please share with me as I'm sure there must be a more efficient way, at least I hope there is.

How do you gather your content?
