Whether you're working from home or an office, it is very important to take regular breaks to stretch your
body and clear your mind. How many of us though remember to take those breaks? Fortunately for me, I have two of the best reminders ever made to keep me on track with this and their names are Brady and Romey, my two dogs.
Brady is a 6 year old beagle/hound mix and Romey is a 6 year old Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix that I adopted from my local animal shelter 5 years ago and they are my four-legged children. Without them coming to check on me or sit with me in my office, or come and give me the 'mom I need to go outside now' look or paws on my leg, I would barely move from my desk!
They also seem to know when a decent workday should end because whenever I go past a certain hour, Brady will come upstairs and sit by my desk and start shooting me looks every few minutes as if to say 'are you done yet?'. Not even my DH or daughter check up on me like that...
My boys serve as furry reminders to keep me up and moving throughout the day and I absolutely love them for it!
